Capturing the Moment

I thought this was so cute, so I grabbed the camera to capture the moment.

This shows how entertained Morgan is with her brother. She is always watching him with intent eyes. This also captures how much Conner loves being with his sister. He is actually watching a cartoon right now, but wanted to still be close to Morgan. He loves when she grabs his fingers so he sat there watching his show while she played with his hands. Makes my heart melt!

TuTu Cute!

Here are a few pictures from our photo shoot this afternoon. She was talking and smiling away, so I thought I would try and get her 3 month pictures. Of course once the camera is out, she stops smiling but I got a few. Isn't she so cute in her tutu :)

I Love My Little Sister!

Here is a cute picture I captured of Conner and Morgan yesterday. I was trying to get Morgan's 3 Month pictures done but Conner wanted to join in on the fun!

3 Months Old

Our little pumpkin is three months old this week! I can't believe how fast she is growing up!!! The year has gone by even faster...it's going to be June next week, CRAZY!

Lots of new things these past few weeks.

*Morgan has been grabbing my hair for a while (most of the time by accident) but this past week she started grabbing her toys and things out of my hands.

*Her hands are always in her mouth! She will probably be a thumb/finger sucker like her brother but right now she LOVES her paci. I almost think she is teething because of the amount of drool. I wouldn't be surprised since Conner had his first two teeth by 4 months.

*Her neck is getting stronger every day and she can sit up in her boppy or baby bebop all by herself. She still is a little tipsy but is working on those muscles every day. She's not a fan of tummy time because she wants to be up and looking around. Always watching her brother.

* We have been bringing her to the table in her bouncy for dinner so she is with the family but she would rather sit on mommy's lap facing everyone. Nine times out of ten halfway through dinner she starts to whine so I will pick her up and sit her with me and she is as happy as can be.

*She absolutely loves her bath at bedtime and knows that once she is out comes her bottle and then sleep.....it's like clockwork and she actually starts crying once she is out of the tub for her bottle. The minute the bottle is done her eyes close and it's lights out :)

She is truly a blessing sent from above! I'm cherishing every moment and every new milestone....before I know it, she will be two like Conner and I'll wonder where the time goes.

Her 3 month pictures will be coming soon. I have lots of adorable dresses to try on :)

Memorial Day Weekend

We were very busy the days prior and during Memorial Day weekend. Many visits to the park, shopping, Playworld, Children's Museum and a BBQ with Friends. Unfortunately my camera disc is full and I hadn't gotten a chance to download them, so not many pictures of all these fun events. Here are a few from a friend that I downloaded from Kodak gallery so they might be a little fuzzy. And of course since we were so busy Conner came down with a cold at the end of the weekend. :( So this week, we are home bound to get healthy.

One picture I wish I could have taken is while we were at Playworld. There was a group of about 8 boys jumping and wrestling in the air machine.....Conner of course got right up in there and was having a ball. It was so humorous to see the difference between mothers and fathers....I was so scared that Conner would get hurt and was watching his every move so he wouldn't and the father's were cheering there boys on. Much to my dislike Conner refused to get out and stayed in there for at least 45 minutes having the time of his life....he only got out because the boys had to go eat lunch. While they were playing I asked one of the father's how old his son was, his answer was 4 1/2!! So here my not yet 2 1/2 year old was playing and wrestling with kids almost twice his age, he was very shocked to hear that Conner was going to be 2 1/2 in July. The kids were about 2 inches taller but you could tell they were older. I think that Conner is misjudged a lot because of his size, people think he should be older and act older. I sometimes have to remember myself that he is only 2! Anyway this is what I have to look forward to with boys in the future, lots of rough housing :)

Cute Little Hats!

I tried taking some pictures of Morgan today in her cute little hats....she was a bit tired at the time so no big smiles. I'll have to try again later this week, but thought I would share these anyway since she is soooooooo cute even without a smile. I love those chubby cheeks! She even has dimples in her elbows...hehehe

Of course I'm a bit bias since I'm her mommy :)

**this hat and outfit was a gift from Auntie Jenny and Uncle Kevin...her first summer hat!

** this adorable hat was made by Kim Crump....so if you want one too let me know she sells them along with very cute headbands and barrettes** Once Morgan gets more hair you'll be seeing more of her creations since I will for sure be buying more :)

Let the Children come to me...

This past Sunday Morgan was Baptized. It was so wonderful to spend the day with our family and know that they were there to support us in this huge responsibility to raise her in God's Will. She looked so cute in her little dress. I put it on her only right before we left because I didn't want her to get it dirty. She made it through the whole service before a major blowout and sure enough we had to change her completely to soak the dress. At least it was after, right :)

The reason you don't see Conner in these pictures is because he was in nursery. There were five other babies/children being baptized. With how busy he is these days we didn't think he would stand still up there. We figured it would be less of a distraction not to mention he would have more fun in nursery.

I remember Conner slept through his entire baptism even when the Pastor put the water on his head, he opened his eyes just for a moment and went back to sleep. That shows the totally different personalities of the two, Morgan started to cry when Ryan handed her over to the Pastor and then stopped when she was back in Daddy's arms. She slept during most of the service and then enjoyed going from one persons arms to the next back at home....she was extremely calm and relaxed with all the commotion going on around her. Guess she is use to that with her brother..haha. Even at one point she was just hanging out in her swing observing everyone for about 45 minutes. I got lots of comments on how good a baby she is....I think she had everyone fooled because that night the baked beans I had for lunch didn't make her that calm and relaxed baby she was all day :)

Here are all the Haartman grandkids oldest to youngest (Left to Right: Seth, Conner, Braedan, Kasey and Morgan) Can't believe we were able to get a few with them all sitting relatively still!

The rest of the weekend was very busy. Ryan's mom came on Thursday night and stayed for the weekend since she lives in Wisconsin it's nice for her to come for four to five days at a time. We we fill the time going all over the place...the Parks, Meijer Gardens, going out to dinner, and just playing around the house all weekend. We were all very tired by the end of Sunday.

Following are a few cute pics of Morgan and Conner....Morgan is becoming quite the smiley baby and has enhanced her cooing vocabulary a lot. It's starting to get harder to feed her since she stops ever few minutes to look around a smile at you, no more 15 minute feedings :)

Conner in his new Thomas the train undies....I didn't know anyone could be so happy to get undies as a gift :)

My new boyfriend....Ben :)

Here are a few pictures of my good friend Kari's baby boy and Morgan. Kari and I have been friends since high school and although it was not planned, we have kids the same age. Her older son, Noah is 10 days older than Conner. (She was actually due after me but she was one of those lucky ones that had her baby early :) I had Conner 5 days late) Baby Ben was born 5 days after Morgan which was my actual due date but since I had a c-section I had Morgan 5 days early.....wouldn't that have been cool to have them the same day! The funny thing is neither of us knew we were pregnant at the same time at first....during our first pregnancies we met for lunch and she told me she was pregnant, my response was me too!!! For our second pregnancies she sent me an email of a picture of Noah holding a card saying I'm a big brother my email reply was Conner wearing his I'm a Big Brother coming March 2008 T-shirt I had made him....guess great minds think alike since we told people in similar ways :)

Conner, Noah, Morgan and Ben will probably be good friends since there mommy's are and have many play dates together. Here are a few pictures of the new additions to our families...what cuties if I say so myself :)

Some candids...

Here are a few pictures of some of Conner's favorite things to do..... try on shoes, give Morgan her bath and go to the Park Park Park! Hope everyone is having a great week!

Where's Morgan????

I don't think we need any more stuffed animals :) and some aren't even in the picture, they didn't all fit!

These are Conner's Pics when he was 2 months old....he smiled more easily for the camera than Morgan will. My little bald buddy :)
